A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF THE TOM THOMAS
COMPANY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF BLOCK WALL
AND SIDEWALK IN CONNECTION WITH CASH CONTRACT
NO. 64
WHEREAS, the Tom Thomas Company has submitted a proposal to the Director
of Pub] is Works to construct two (2) 15' long, 40" high block walls, and 150 square feet of
4" concrete walk for a total price of $650.00 including all materials and labor necessary
for said construction; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works deems the acceptance of said
proposal to be in the best interests of the City of Carson.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section I. Acceptance of Proposal That the City Council of the City
of Carson hereby awards the contract for doing said work to
TOM THOMAS COMPANY.
Section 2. Specifying Fund. It is ordered that the cost to the City of
said work and improvements sha I I be paid as?'ollows:
General Fund $650.00.
Section 3. Execution of Contract. The Director of Public Works is
directed to prepare tFecontract, and t e Mayor is authorized to enter into the contract
subject to its approval by the City Attorney.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15th day of May, 1972.

hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five;
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 72-092, was duly and regularly adopted
by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly
held on the 15th day of May, 1972, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the
following vote:
