HomeMy Public PortalAbout72-095RESOLUTION NO. 72-095 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON RECOGNIZING AND COMMENDING CONGRESS- MAN GLENN ANDERSON FOR HIS SERVICE TO THE CITY OF CARSON WHEREAS, Congressman Glenn Anderson has served the City of Carson since his election to Congress in 1968; and WHEREAS, Congressman Glenn Anderson has personally involved himself in assisting the City to obtain better postal service and a Carson postal address; and WHEREAS, Congressman Glenn Anderson has personally followed and supported the City's Parks -in -Cities grant from HUD to its present successful stage; and WHEREAS, Congressman Glenn Anderson has cheerfully and quickly leant his time and services to other activities vital to this City. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Carson does hereby commend and thank Congressman Glenn Anderson for his service to the citizens of the former 17th Congressional District and particularly for his services to the City of Carson.
