A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON GRANTING AN EASEMENT TO SOUTHERN CALIF-
ORNIA EDISON COMPANY WITHIN LOT 8, TRACT NO.29664
WHEREAS, Southern California Edison Company requests the granting of an
easement within Lot 8, Tract No. 29664, for the purpose of distributing electrical energy
transmitting intelligence by electrical means, and constructing related appurtenances for
so doing; and
WHEREAS, such services shall be of need and benefit to the City of Carson.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Carson does hereby grant said easement to Southern California Edison Company as described
in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.

A. strip of laud 3 feet in width lying within Lot 8, Tract Ko. 29664, as per
map recorded in Book 810, Pages 46 to 48 inclusive, oz !4Iaps, in the office of the
County Recorder of said County, the centerline of said strip being described as
follows:
Begirnin.g at a point in said lot that is northerly 16 feet and easterly
20 feet, measured at right angles respectively, froin the southerly and westerly
lines of said lot, thence southeasterly to a point in said lot that is northerly
6 feet and easterly 24 feet, measured at right an;les respectively from said
southerly and westerly litres of said lot, said point hereinafter referred to as
Point A.
ALSO a strip of lard 6 feat in width lying within said Trot 8 and within a portion
of the -1326.58 acre allotment to Susana Bo=ning-uez in the Raine€ao San Pedro, as per
Mala filed in Case ;~nom 3284 of the Superior Court of the State or California, for
said CoLntys the westerly line of said strap being described as follows:
Beginning at said Point: A; thence South 0°09'56" East 8 feet.

with said systems and shall have free access to said systems and every part thereof, at all tithes, for
the purpose of exercising the rights herein granted; provided, however, that in making any excavation on
said property of the Grantor(,), the Grante4s shall make the same in such manner as will cause the least
injury to the surface of the ground around such excavation, and shall replace the earth so removed by it
and restore the surface of the ground to as near the same condition as it was prior to such excavation as is
practicable.
