A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON TO ENTER INTO COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT
NO. 2782, TRAFFIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, WITH THE
CALIFORNIA DIVISION OF HIGHWAYS
WHEREAS, the California Division of Highways, in its program to improve
traffic flow, will undertake a traffic improvement program on Route 405 (San Diego Freeway);
and
WHEREAS, such program will be to install freeway on-ramp metering devices;
and
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the City of Carson to participate in said
program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Carson agrees to enter into a cooperative agreement with the California Division of Highways,
accepting the covenants of such agreement, and does hereby authorize the Mayor to execute
and the City Clerk to attest.
