A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF .THE CITY OF
CARSON RELATING TO THE CONTRACT WITH THE FIRM OF
GRIFFIN AND ASSOCIATES SUPPLEMENTING THE EXISTING
COMPUTERIZED PARKWAY TREES SURVEY AND MASTER PLAN
THROUGHOUT THE CITY OF CARSON
WHEREAS, the firm of Griffin and Associates submitted a proposal to provide
the City with a complete parkway tree survey and master plan; and
WHEREAS, this proposal was accepted by the City Council on June 7, 1971;
and
WHEREAS, the annexation by the City of the Dominguez -Lincoln Village area
has now made the existing survey and master plan deficient; and
WHEREAS, the firm of Griffin and Associates has submitted a proposal to
supplement the existing computerized parkway tree survey and master plan and bring the City's
inventory up to date; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds this proposal and the conditions set forth
therein to be the best and most advantageous proposal, and to the best interest of the City
to accept.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carson as follows:
Section I. That the proposed agreement between the City of Carson and
the firm of Griffin nad Associates be approved.
Section 2. That the Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute�Te supplemental agreement approved in form by the City Attorney.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 5th day of September, 1972.

I, Marilyn R. Cortina, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do hereby
certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five; that the fore-
going resolution, being Resolution No. 72-158, was duly and regularly adopted by the City
Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 5th
day of September, 1972, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Bridgers, Calas, Smith, Yamamoto and Marbut.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
