A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF DEARTH MACHINERY
COMPANY FOR WAYNE MODEL 945, 4 -WHEEL STREET
SWEEPER, IN CONNECTION WITH BID PROPOSAL 11072-5
WHEREAS, Dearth Machinery Company has submitted a proposal to the
Director of Public Works to furnish one Wayne Model 945, four-wheel street sweeper,
for a total price of $17,926.80, including all materials and labor necessary for said
sweeper; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works deems the acceptance of said
proposal to be in the best interests of the City of Carson.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section I. Acceptance of Proposal. That the City Council of the
City of Carson her— a-7 y awards the contract for doing said work to:
Contractor - DEARTH MACHINERY COMPANY.
Section 2. Execution of Contract. The Director of Public Works is
directed to prepare tFe contract, and t e Mayor is authorized to enter into the contract
subject to its approval by the City Attorney.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 18thday of September, 1972

hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five;
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 72-164, was duly and regularly adopted
by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly
held on the 18th day of September, 1972 , and that the same was so passed and adopted
by the following vote:
