HomeMy Public PortalAbout72-168RESOLUTION NO. 72-168 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON ENTERING INTO AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE LOS ANGELES CITY SCHOOL DISTRICT APPROVING ACCESS RIGHTS THROUGH SCOTT PARK TO CATSKILL AVENUE SCHOOL. WHEREAS, the Los Angeles City School District does utilize the Scott Park parking lot to gain access to their trash bins; and WHEREAS, the Los Angeles City School District is willing to pay a $200 fee for the use of the access route for a period of five years; and WHEREAS, this has been an ongoing condition approved by the Los Angeles County prior to the City of Carson's incorporation. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carson: Section 1. That the proposed agreement between the City of Carson and Los Angeles City School District be approved. Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement with form approved by the City Attorney.
