A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON HONORING DR. LEO F. CAIN, PRESIDENT,
CALIFORNIA STATE COLLEGE, DOMINGUEZ HILLS
WHEREAS, Dr. Leo F. Cain has served with distinction as President of California
State College, Dominguez Hills for the past ten years; and
WHEREAS, his administration has demonstrated foresight and innovation in that
the college has, during this relatively short period of time, become a major institution of higher
learning; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Cain has devoted numerous years of service in the field of
education, both as a teacher and as an administrator.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council on behalf of the
citizens of Carson, does hereby commend and thank Dr. Leo F. Cain for his many years of
devoted service and extends its best wishes for his future success and the future success of
California State College, Dominguez Hills.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 11th day of October, 1972
