RESOLUTION NO. 2000-26
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TRUCKEE
TO MODIFY THE SET-ASIDE FUNDS DESIGNATED FOR HOUSING REHABILITATION
SHALL NOW BE SPENT WITHIN THE PROJECT AREA
WHEREAS, the Town of Truckee received a grant through the Community Development Block
Grant program for housing rehabilitation in 1998, and
WHEREAS, the grant included a 10% set-aside to be used in part for housing rehabilitation
outside of the designated project area, and
WHEREAS, the Town desires to modify the work program to use the set-aside monies for
housing rehabilitation within the project area, and
WHEREAS, on this date the Truckee Town Council conducted a duly noticed public hearing
regarding the proposed modification of the work program and has considered all public input provided.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN
OF TRUCKEE that the work program for the 1998 CDBG Housing Rehabilitation Grant is hereby
modified to specify that that portion of the set-aside funds designated for housing rehabilitation shall be
spent within the project area defined by the work program.
The foregoing Resolution was introduced at a Regular Meeting of the Town Council of the Town
of Truckee, held on the fourth day of May, 2000 by Councilmember Susman who moved its adoption,
which motion being duly seconded by Councilmember Florian was upon roll call earned and the
Resolution adopted by the following vote:
AYES:
Councilmembers Drake, Florian, Susman & Mayor Schneider
NOES: None
ABSENT: Councilmember McCormack
