A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL OF INTERNATIONAL
HARVESTER CO. FOR DUMP TRUCK
WHEREAS, International Harvester Company has submitted a proposal to
the Director of Public Works to furnish one International Harvester dump truck for a total
price of $8,218.85, including all materials and labor necessary; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works deems the acceptance of said proposal
to be in the best interests of the City of Carson.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section I. Acceptance of Proposal. That the City Council of the City
of Carson hereby awards the contract for doing said war to:
INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER COMPANY.
Section 2. Execution of Contract. The Director of Public Works is
directed to prepare tFe contract, and the Mayor is authorized to enter into the contract
subject to its approval by the City Attorney.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6th day of November, 1972.

1, Marilyn R. Cortina, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do
hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five;
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 72-193, was duly and regularly adopted
by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly
held on the 6th day of Noveyrber, 1972, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the
following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Bridgers, Calas, Smith, Yamamoto & Marbut.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
