A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON AWARDING A CONTRACT TO LAMPMAN & ASSOCIATES
FOR THE PREPARATION OF A TRAFFIC SAFETY STUDY
WHEREAS, Lampman & Associates has submitted a proposal to the Director
of Public Works to conduct a Traffic Safety Study for the City of Carson fora total price
of $12,243; and
WHEREAS, the costs for the subject study will be paid for by a federally
funded grant to be administered by the State of California; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works deems the acceptance of said
proposal to be in the best interests of the City of Carson.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section I. Acceptance of Proposal. That the City Council of the City
of Carson hereby awards the contract for doing said work to
LAMPMAN & ASSOCIATES
Section 2. Execution of Contract. The Director of Public Works is
directed to prepare tie contract, and the Mayor is authorized to enter into the contract
subject to its approval by the City Attorney.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 22nd day of February, 1972.

I, Marilyn R. Cortina, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do
hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five;
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution ,No. 72-034, was duly and regularly adopted
by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting soid Council, duly and regularly held
on the 22nd day of February, 1972, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the
following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Bridgers, Calas, Marbut, Smith and Leahy.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
