A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON
TOENTER INTO A COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT WITH THE LOS
ANGELES COUNTY FLOODCO NTROL DISTRICT TO REIMBURSE
THE CITY FOR PAVING COSTSIN CONNECTION WITH PROJECT
NO. 8650, UNIT 2
WHEREAS, the Los Angeles County Flood Control District will be administering
a contract for Storm Drain construction in the City of Carson; and
WHEREAS, the City of Carson will be constructing a street improvement project
on 220th Street, Martin to Badeau, immediately following the storm drain project at that
location; and
WHEREAS, it will not be necessary, therefore, for the storm drain contractor
to r estore the pavement with permanent pavement.
NOW,TH EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Carson agrees to enter into a cooperative agreement with the Los Angeles County Flood
Control District providing for reimbursement to the City of Carson for the cost of such
pavement, and does hereby authorize the Mayor to execute and the City Clerk to attest
to said cooperative agreement.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15th day of January, 1973.

I, Marilyn R. Cortina, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do hereby
certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of the City of Carson, is five;
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 73-016, was duly and regularly adopted by
the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held
on the 15th day of January, 1973, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following
vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Bridgers, Colas, Smith, Yamamoto and
Marbut .
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None.
