A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON AMENDING THE CITY BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR
1972-73 AND APPROPRIATING ADDITIONAL REVENUES
WHEREAS, the City Council did on the 3rd day of July, 1972 adopt Resolution
No. 72-127, entitled, "A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Carson Adopting the
City Budget and Appropriating Revenues for the 1972-73 Fiscal Year;" and
WHEREAS, the City of Carson now wishes to pursue the west strip of unincorporated'
territory to the City of Carson; and
WHEREAS, such annexation activity will incur costs that were not anticipated
at the time of preparing and adopting the annual budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1 . That the 1972-73 Annual Budget is hereby amended as hereinafter
provided.
Section 2. That the sum of $23,955 is hereby appropriated out of public funds
and the expend iture^s- t ereof authorized for the several departments, offices and agencies for
the respective objects and purposes therein named, and the following adjustments in said budget
as heretofore approved and amended are now authorized.

Section 3. The Finance Director is hereby authorized and directed to adjust
all records and documents to reflect this amendment to the budget for FY 1972-73.

hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five;
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 73-034, was duly and regularly adopted
by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly
held on the 5th day of February, 1973, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the
