Hi, Brian,
Many comments have and will continue to state that no more vehicle traffic should be allowed on
Woodlands Drive and certainly no construction vehicle traffic headed for Pine Creek Ranch should be
allowed.
In support of these comments, I’ve attached 2 photographs I took recently as examples of typical
congestion on what one who doesn’t regularly drive or live on this street might think is a quiet
residential street.
1 photo is after 9pm on July 16, the 2nd photo was taken midday July 27. I don’t drive on the street
often, so I imagine there are many more examples similar to these 2.
Several of us have suggested that a non-motorized restricted use pathway link between Pine Creek
Ranch and The Woodlands would be valuable for all residents, for evacuation and transportation
purposes.
In support of this concept, I’ve attached 1 photograph as an example of a pathway with a removable
locking bollard and Evacuation Route only signage. I imagine this could be tailored to our specific
needs.
Thank you very much for including this explanation and the 3 photographs in the Public Comments
for the Scope document.
The Environmental Assessment should address the current and future situation on Woodlands Drive.
