A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON COMMENDING JOSEPH M. KENNICK, SENATOR
FOR THE 33RD DISTRICT, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, Joseph M. Kennick, Senator for the 33rd Senate District of the
State of California, serves the City of Carson; and
WHEREAS, Joseph M. Kennick has demonstrated his ability, interest and
eagerness to solve local problems; and
WHEREAS, he has a distinguished record of service to the citizens of this area
in that he served with distinction in the State Assembly and Senate for more than fifteen
years; and
WHEREAS, he has demonstrated a real concern for the needs of the people,
especially the younger member; of our generation; this being demonstrated by his authorSng
several legislative bills to help rehabilitate juvenile offenders.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council, in behalf of the
citizens of Carson, hereby commends and thanks Joseph M. Kennick for his progressive,
forthought and helpful attitude as a Senator from the 33rd District, State of California, and
extends its best wishes for his success in the State Senate.

by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly
held on the 19th day of March, 1973, and that the some was so passed and adopted by the
