A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON
APPROVING THE AUTHORITY AND RESPONSIBILITY FOR BRIDGE
INSPECTION OF CITY OF CARSON BRIDGES BE VESTED IN THE
COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES
WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles is willing to assume the authority and
responsibility of providing uniform and standardized inspection of City and County bridges,
as provided in Section 1394 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of California,
upon the agreement of the cities concerned; and
WHEREAS, the interests of the City of Carson are best served by the County
in providing that inspection of bridges in Carson.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Carson concurs in vesting the authority and responsibility for the inspection of any and all city
bridges within the City of Carson to the County of Los Angeles.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7th day 9f May, 1973.

I, Marilyn R. Cortina, City Clerk of the City of Carson, do hereby certify that
the whole number of members of the City Council of the City of Carson is five; that the foregoing
resolution, being Resolution No. 73-096, was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council
at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 7th day of May, 1973,
and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote:
