MEETING MINUTES
SPECIAL MEETING — SEPTEMBER 22, 2008
AT: VILLAGE HALL
BOARD PRESENT: J.WALDORF, J.DEMENT, P.FAY, B.LAMB, W.MANNING, AND
J.RACICH. BOARD ABSENT: L.VAUPEL. OTHERS PRESENT: A.HARRIS,
ADMINISTRATOR; J.HARVEY, ATTORNEY; M.GIBAS, VILLAGE CLERK; S.AMANN,
ENGINEER; AYERSONS, PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR; M. SCHWARZ, PLANNER;
TYLECKHAM, MANAGEMENT SERVICES DIRECTOR; AND D.BENNETT, CHIEF OF
POLICE.
Mayor Waldorf called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Roll call was taken, Trustee Vaupel was
absent, all other Trustees were present. Mayor Waldorf led the pledge to the flag. There were
approximately 12 persons in the audience.
BUSINESS MEETING
#1 APPROVAL OF THE AGENDA
Trustee Fay moved to approve the Agenda. Seconded by Trustee Dement. Vote by roll call. Vaupel,
absent; Dement, yes; Fay, yes; Lamb, yes; Manning, yes; Racich, yes. 5 yes, 0 no, 1 absent. Motion
carried.
#2 LOCKPORT STREET ELECTRIC UTILITIES
Trustee Fay moved to authorize the Village President to execute an agreement with Commonwealth
Edison Company to facilitate the relocation of existing overhead electrical utilities to underground
utilities as required along Lockport Street. Seconded by Trustee Dement. Vote by roll call. Vaupel,
absent; Dement, yes; Fay, yes; Lamb, yes; Manning, yes; Racich, yes. 5 yes, 0 no, 1 absent. Motion
carried.
#3 LIQUOR LICENSES
Trustee Dement moved to adopt Ordinance No. 2791, decreasing the Class "M" Liquor Licenses
from three (3) to two (2). Seconded by Trustee Fay. Vote by roll call. Vaupel, absent; Dement, yes;
Fay, yes; Lamb, yes; Manning, yes; Racich, yes. 5yes, 0 no, 1 absent. Motion carried.
Trustee Fay moved to adjourn. Seconded by Trustee Lamb. Voice Vote. All in favor, 0 opposed.
Motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 7:03 p.m.
