A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON ACCEPTING A ROAD EASEMENT ON CENTRAL
AVENUE FROM EDISON COMPANY
WHEREAS, the County of Los Angeles in the public interest is proposing
to construct a major highway on Central Avenue from Caldwell to Walnut; and
WHEREAS, the City of Carson agreed to furnish the right of way for the
above project within its jurisdiction; and
WHEREAS, the Edison Company has agreed to furnish the needed right of
way across the transmission tower right of way frontage bordering Central Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Carson does hereby accept said offered road easement from the Edison Company and authorizes
the Mayor and the City Clerk to execute the deed document for the City of Carson.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7th day of May, 1973.

hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five;
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 73-098, was duly and regularly adopted
by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly
held on the 7th day of May, 1973, and that the some was so passed and adopted by the
following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Calas, Marbut, Smith, and Yamamoto
NOES: COUNCILMEN: Bridgers
