2023 SALARY ORDINANCE AMENDMENT
ORDINANCE. NO. 1919
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1902 ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE.
RELATING TO SALARIES AND OTHER COMPENSATION OF OFFICERS,
MANAGERIAL STAFF, CONFIDENTIAL EMPLOYEES, AND EMPLOYEES OF THE
BOROUGH OF FRANKLIN LAKES, COUNTY OF BERGEN, STATE OF NEW
JERSEY FOR THE YEAR 2023" TO CORRECT CERTAIN SALARIES/STIPENDS
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 1902, the Borough's 2023 Salary Ordinance, contained errors
in the salary of the Chief Financial Officer, and the stipends for the Recycling Coordinator and
REACII Coordinator;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough of
Franklin Lakes, County of Bergen, and State of New Jersey, as follows:
Section 1. The following salary and stipends in Section 1 "Managerial and Confidential
Employees" of Ordinance No. 1902 are hereby amended to read as follows:
Chief Financial Officer 145,281
Recycling Coordinator— stipend 3,309
RFACI-I Coordinator—stipend 1,711
Section 2. Repealer.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent or in conflict with this Ordinance are
hereby repealed as to said inconsistencies and conflicts.
Section 3. Severability.
If any section, part of any section, or clause or phrase of this ordinance is for any reason
held to be invalid or unconstitutional, such decision shall not affect the remaining provisions of
this ordinance. The governing body of the Borough of Franklin Lakes declares that it would have
passed the ordinance and each section and subsection thereof, irrespective of the fact that any one
or more of the subsections, sentences, clauses or phrases may be declared unconstitutional or
invalid.
Section 4. I?ffective Date.
This ordinance take effect im edi" y upon passage and publication according to
law.
