Held on December 4, 2008
At Village Hall
Mayor Waldorf called the meeting to order at 1:07 p.m. Present were: Mayor Waldorf, Trustee
Racich, Trustee Vaupel, Trustee Dement, Trustee Fay, Trustee Lamb, and Trustee Manning. Also
present: Jim Harvey, Attorney; Michelle Gibas, Village Clerk; Allen Persons, Public Works
Director, and Don Bennett, Chief of Police. There were 2 persons in the audience.
Mayor Waldorf led the pledge to the flag.
Trustee Fay moved to adjourn to Executive Session as permitted under the Open Meetings Act
Section (2) (C) (1) "To discuss the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline,
performance, or dismissal of employees or legal counsel" to reconvene. Seconded by Trustee Lamb.
Vote by roll call. Racich, yes; Vaupel, yes; Dement, yes; Fay, yes; Lamb, yes; Manning, yes.
6 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 1:08 p.m.
Mayor Waldorf reconvened the meeting at 3:40 p.m. Roll call was taken, all Trustees were present.
Trustee Manning moved to appoint Don Bennett as the interim administrator with a monthly salary
stipend of $1,000.00. Seconded by Trustee Lamb. Vote by roll call. Racich, yes; Vaupel, yes;
Dement, yes; Fay, no; Lamb, yes; Manning, yes. 5 yes, 1 no. Motion carried.
Trustee Lamb moved to adjourn. Seconded by Manning. Voice Vote. All in favor, 0 opposed.
Motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 3:45 p.m.
