A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF
ONE 3/4 TON VAN TRUCK
WHEREAS, a 3/4 Ton Van Truck is enumerated in the Fiscal Year 1972-73
Budget for purchase by the City; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids for the provision of said vehicle were solicited,
received and opened at the City Hall on 23 May 1973; and
WHEREAS, GMC Truck and Coach Division, 6901 South Alameda Street,
Los Angeles, California 90001, submitted the lowest and best bid for the purchase of said
vehicle.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Ca rson :
Section I. That a contract for the provision of one new 3/4 Ton Van
Truck, as enumerated in the bid specifications, is awarded to:
GMC Truck & Coach Division
Section 2. The Mayor is hereby authorized and directed to execute the
contract.

held on the 4th day of June, 1973, and that the some was so passed and adopted by the
