October 11, 1832.
A meeting of the Waterworks Committee was held to -day and Was attended
by Mayor Gamble, who_pre.eided:,. :and.Councilmen Sharpley,Blumenthal
and Logan and Mr. A.P.Solomon,jr.

The Mayor called the meeting to order.
The Mayor asked Mr Solomon about additional fire plugs and water
rates - r Solomon said that the new proposals included all fire
plugs necessary as to rates, his company did not want to raise
the rates and will not unless necessary - Mr Solomon was asked
wiat would happen if his company did not get the money from the
RFC, he said that the. TWW would carry on regardless and that he
expected t4 start work by November 1st - he was asked what the
Town will get from the TWW in the next ten years - he said that
the TWW expected to grow with the Town - the Mayor informed Mr
Solomon that the Town authorities felt that they were under no
obligations not to go on with t: a Term's plans - Mr Solomon
was excused - the Mayor said that he did not thimk that the TWW
could get the money from the RFC and that the RFC will wait on
the Town.
There being no further business -the meeting adjourned.

A spectral meeting of Council was held to -day at 4:09 p.m.and
was attedded by Mayor Gamble, who presided, and. Councilmen
Blumenthal, Demere and Logan and Messrs. A.P.Solomon,jr.,
J.M.Rogers and.C.F.Powers.
The Mayor called the meeting to order and informed the gathering
that this was a continued meeting from a previous one.
The purpose of this meeting was explained by the Mayor so that
the three clauses not specificully covered in the last proposal
submitted by the TWW, could be clarified now;
1 The TWW to indtst&ll more plugs when needed.
(2) The TWW agrees to go under the supervision of the
Public Service Commssion.
(3) The Extension of new lines.
the Mayor that he was ready to receive the report of
the T. Mr Rogers said that he would submit what he thinks that
the TWW can do, also that the old proposal had been withdrawn,
it was possible for the TWW to install a system approved by the
S.E.U.Assn up to 30 plugs, Town to furnish police protection ,
would install the necessary equipment to give adquate service,
would furnish to Town without cost for watering flLwers, fire
protection and sewerage, that the TWW expected the Town to add
20 years to its present franchise, he said that he did not draw
any specific contract to submit to the Town - the Mayor said that
the TWW agreedto grant 300 feet extensions without cost to the
property owner - Mr Rogers said that they could not do that -
