A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARSON APPROVING AND PROVIDING FOR THE
EXECUTION OF A FIRST AMENDATORY CONTRACT FOR
GRANT TO ACQUIRE AND/OR DEVELOP LAND FOR
OPEN -SPACE PURPOSES NO. CALIF. OSC-417 (G) BY
AND BETWEEN THE CITY OF CARSON AND THE UNITED
STATES OF AMERICA
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carson as
fol lows:
Section 1. The pending proposed First Amendatory Contract for Grant to
Acquire And/Or Deve o Land For Open-Sce Purposes No. Calif. OSC-417 (G) is hereby
in all respects approved.
Section 2. The Mayor of the City of Carson is hereby authorized and
directed to execute First Amendatory Contract No. Calif. OSC-417 (G) in two (2) counter-
parts on behalf of the City of Carson and the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed
to impress and attest the official seal of the Public Body on each such counterpart and to
forward such counterparts to the Department of Housing and Urban Development, for execution
on behalf of the Government together with such other documents relative to the approval and
execution of such counterparts as may be required by the Government.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately.

I, Marilyn R. Cortina, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do
hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five;
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 73-142, was duly and regularly adopted
by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly
held on the 16th day of July, 1973 , and that the same was so passed and adopted by
the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Bridgers, Calas, Smith and Yamamoto.
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None.
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Marbut.
