SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
OCTOBER 11, 2010
AT: VILLAGE HALL
BOARD PRESENT: MCOLLINS, P.FAY, L.KACHEL, B.LAMB, G.PECK, J.RACICH,
AND MBONUCHI OTHERS PRESENT: B.MURPHY, VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR;
M.GIBAS, VILLAGE CLERK; J.PROULX, PLANNER; AYERSONS, PUBLIC WORKS
DIRECTOR; D.MARQUEZ, BUILDING SUPERVISOR; TYLECKHAM, MANAGEMENT
SERVICES DIRECTOR; AND B.DOSTER, CHIEF OF POLICE.
CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL/PLEDGE
Mayor Collins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Roll call was taken, all Trustees were
present. Mayor Collins led the pledge to the flag. There were approximately 7 persons in the
audience.
PRESIDENTIAL COMMENTS
None
TRUSTEES COMMENTS
Trustee Racich thanked the previous Village Boards for their insight and planning of Settlers'
Park.
Trustee Lamb stated that he attended the Wastewater Treatment Plant Open House and thought it
was very nice.
Trustee Peck thanked staff for the Wastewater Treatment Plant open house.
BUSINESS MEETING
1) APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Trustee Fay moved to approve the agenda. Seconded by Trustee Peck. Vote by roll call. Fay,
yes; Kachel, yes; Lamb, yes; Peck, yes; Racich, yes; Bonuchi, yes. 6 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.
2) BUSINESS LICENSE ORDINANCE
Trustee Fay moved to adopt Ordinance No. 2960, amending Chapter 4, Article IX, relating to
Business Registration. Seconded by Trustee Peck. Vote by roll call. Fay, yes; Kachel, yes;
Lamb, yes; Peck, yes; Racich, yes; Bonuchi, yes. 6 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.
3) OTTAWA STREET PARKING
Trustee Racich moved to rescind the Board direction to modify parking on Ottawa Street.
Seconded by Trustee Peck. Vote by roll call. Fay, abstain; Kachel, yes; Lamb, yes; Peck, yes;
Racich, yes; Bonuchi, yes. 5 yes, 0 no, 1 abstain. Motion carried.

#4) BUILDING BOARD OF APPEALS
Trustee Bonuchi moved to appoint the following to the Building Board of Appeals:
- Chris Kozak, Vice President of Construction for Harbour Contractors, term expiring
April 30, 2011.
- Dale Hurley, Superintendent for Indicom Electrical Contractors, term expiring
April 30, 2012.
- James Muha, General Contractor and owner of James Homes, term expiring
April 30, 2013.
Seconded by Trustee Lamb. Vote by roll call. Fay, yes; Kachel, yes; Lamb, yes; Peck, yes;
Racich, yes; Bonuchi, yes. 6 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.
Trustee Fay moved to adjourn the Special Meeting. Seconded by Trustee Kachel. Voice Vote.
All in favor, 0 opposed. Motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 7:09 p.m.
