A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON WAIVING THE REQUIREMENT FOR THE FILING OF A
PARCEL MAP IN THE DIVISION OF LOT 59, TRACT NO. 3848,
BY THE CARSON REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
WHEREAS, the Carson Redevelopment Agency desires to divide for the purpose
of sale Lot 59, Tract No. 3848, in the City of Carson, County of Los Angeles, State of
California, as per map recorded in Book 42, Page 68 of Maps, in the office of the County
Recorder of said County; and
WHEREAS, the Carson Redevelopment Agency has agreed to sell portions of
said Lot 59, Tract No. 3848 to Chrysler Realty Corporation on the one hand and Don Kott
on the other hand; and
WHEREAS, Chrysler Realty Corporation and Don Kott have agreed with the
Carson Redevelopment Agency to fill the subject land in order to provide adequate flood
and water drainage; and
WHEREAS, public improvements adjacent to the subject lot are being pursued
and completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The proposed division by the Carson Redevelopment Agency of
Lot 59, Tract No. 3848, by the sale of the North 122.01 feet of said Lot to Chrysler Realty
Corporation, and by the sale of said Lot except the North 122.01 feet thereof (excepting
property in public rights of way) to Don Kott, is hereby found to comply with the require-
ments as to area, improvement and design, flood and water drainage control, available
improved public roads, sanitary disposal facilities, water supply availability, environmental
protection, and all other requirements of state law and local ordinance which are applicable
to the division of land into four or less parcels.
Section 2. The proposed division of Lot 59, Tract No. 3848, as described
above, is here yT>—f6-UnTnot to require the filing of a Parcel Map, and such division is hereby
approved.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6th day of August, 1973.

I, Marilyn R. Cortina, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do
hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of the City of Carson,
is five; that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 73-158, was duly and regularly
adopted by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and
regularly held on the 6th day of August, 1973, and that the same was so passed and adopted
by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Bridgers, Colas, Marbut, Smit;x, and Yamamoto
