SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
FEBURARY 14, 2011
AT: VILLAGE HALL
BOARD PRESENT: L.KACHEL, B.LAMB, G.PECK, M.BONUCHI, AND P.FAY. BOARD
ABSENT: M.COLLINS AND J.RACICH. OTHERS PRESENT: B.MURPHY, VILLAGE
ADMINISTRATOR; M.GIBAS, VILAGE CLERK; AYERSONS, PUBLIC WORKS
DIRECTOR; M.GARRIGAN, PLANNING SUPERVISOR; D.MARQUEZ, BUILDING
SUPERVISOR; TYLECKHAM, MANAGEMENT SERVICES DIRECTOR; AND
J.KONOPEK, INTERIM CHIEF OF POLICE.
Trustee Fay called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Roll call was taken, Mayor Collins and
Trustee Racich were absent. All other Trustees were present. There were approximately 30
persons in the audience.
Trustee Lamb moved to appoint Trustee Fay as Temporary Chair for this evening's meeting.
Seconded by Trustee Kachel. Vote by roll call. Kachel, yes; Lamb, yes; Peck, yes; Racich,
absent; Bonuchi, yes; Fay, yes. 5 yes, 0 no, 1 absent. Motion carried.
BUSINESS MEETING
#1 APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Trustee Fay moved to approve the agenda. Seconded by Trustee Bonuchi. Vote by roll call.
Kachel, yes; Lamb, yes; Peck, yes; Racich, absent; Bonuchi, yes; Fay, yes. 5 yes, 0 no, 1 absent.
Motion carried.
#2 INTERIM POLICE CHIEF APPOINTMENT
Trustee Fay moved to appoint John Konopek as Interim Police Chief Seconded by Trustee
Bonuchi. Vote by roll call. Kachel, yes; Lamb, yes; Peck, yes; Racich, absent; Bonuchi, yes;
Fay, yes. 5 yes, 0 no, 1 absent. Motion carried.
Michelle Gibas, Village Clerk, administered the Oath of Office to John Konopek.
Trustee Fay moved to adjourn. Seconded by Trustee Lamb. Voice Vote. All in favor, 0
opposed. Motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 7:05 p.m.
