SPECIAL MEETING MINUTES
OCTOBER 24, 2011
AT: VILLAGE HALL
BOARD PRESENT: M.COLLINS, B.LAMB, G.PECK, J.RACICH, DRIPPY, M.BONUCHI,
AND P.FAY. OTHERS PRESENT: B.MURPHY, ADMINISTRATOR; M.GIBAS, VILLAGE
CLERK; M.GARRIGAN, PLANNING SUPERVISOR; A.PERSONS, PUBLIC WORKS
DIRECTOR; T. PLECKHAM, MANAGEMENT SERVICES DIRECTOR; DMARQUEZ,
BUILDING SUPERVISOR.
CALL TO ORDER, ROLL CALL /PLEDGE
Mayor Collins called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Roll call was taken, all Trustees were
present. Mayor Collins led the pledge to the flag. There were approximately 13 persons in the
audience.
BUSINESS MEETING
1) APPROVAL OF AGENDA
Trustee Fay moved to approve the Agenda. Seconded by Trustee Racich. Vote by roll call.
Lamb, yes; Peck, yes; Racich, yes; Rippy, yes; Bonuchi, yes; Fay, yes. 6 yes, 0 no. Motion
carried.
2) 2011 -2012 SNOW PLOW BIDS
Trustee Fay moved to authorize, Hively Landscaping Inc.,Shreve Services, George's Landscape,
Antrex Inc. and J & S Construction to complete emergency snow plowing and salting as required
and as per the Schedule of Prices provided by each for the Winter Season 2011 -2012. Seconded
by Trustee Racich. Vote by roll call. Lamb, yes; Peck, yes; Racich, yes; Rippy, yes;
Bonuchi, yes; Fay, yes. 6 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.
Trustee Bonuchi moved to authorize Shreve Services, to complete emergency snow removal as
required and as per the Schedule of Prices provided for the Winter Season 2011 -2012.
Seconded by Trustee Lamb. Vote by roll call. Lamb, yes; Peck, yes; Racich, yes; Rippy, yes;
Bonuchi, yes; Fay, yes. 6 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.
3) PHYSICIANS IMMEDIATE CARE
Trustee Fay moved to approve the Site Plan for Physicians Immediate Care on Lot 6 at the
Meijers Planned Development at Route 59 and 135th Street. Seconded by Trustee Lamb. Vote
by roll call. Lamb, yes; Peck, yes; Racich, yes; Rippy, yes; Bonuchi, yes; Fay, yes. 6 yes, 0 no.
Motion carried.
4) TIGER GRANT
Trustee Fay moved to authorize Randy Jessen to submit the Tiger Grant application on behalf of
the Village of Plainfield. Seconded by Trustee Bonuchi. Vote by roll call. Lamb, yes;
Peck, yes; Racich, yes; Rippy, yes; Bonuchi, yes; Fay, yes. 6 yes, 0 no. Motion carried.
Trustee Fay moved to adjourn. Seconded by Trustee Lamb. Voice Vote. All in favor, 0
opposed. Motion carried.
The meeting adjourned at 7:05 p.m.
