The meeting was called to order at 7:30 P.M. in the Village Hall
by Mayor Hatcher. Present were Leonard Schlosser, Lloyd Hatcher,
Herbert Arens, Anne Theis, Lloyd Robinson, Orlo Eisinger and Calvin
Thell.
The board discussed the proposed Police System. The Police ResA
olution was submitted to the board and to the Constables for their
inspection. Written resignations of Constable Lloyd Robinson and
Constable Orlo Eisinger were submitted to the Council for their approval.
A motion was made by Anne Theis to accept the resignations of the
two Constables, Robinson and Eisinger. Motion seconded by Herb Arens.
Motion carried..
A motion was made by Herb Arens to appoint Lloyd Robinson, Orlo
Eisinger and Calvin Thell as Police Officers for the Village Of Medina
for the year of 1960. Motion seconded by Leonard Schlosser. Motion
carried.
A notion to adopt the "Police Resolution" was made, seconded and
carried.
A motion was ,glade by Herb Arens to appoint Leonard Schlosser to
act with Lloyd Hatcher, Police Chief, on the Police Committee. Motion
seconded by Anne Theis. Motion carried.
Orlo Eisinger stated that the Police Officers would be content
to have their s&lary remain at $1.50 per hour and increase their
mileage to 10 cents per :wile. The Council was in agreement with
this.
A motion was made by Anne Theis to authorize the police -officers
to purchase new badges.. Motion seconded by Leonard Schlosser. Motion
carried.
Motion to adjourn by Herb Arens seconded by Leonard Schlosser.
Meeting adjourned at 8:30 P.M.
