HomeMy Public PortalAbout74-076RESOLUTION NO. 74-076 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON APPROVING A LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR LAND- SCAPING AND LIMITED PARK PURPOSES ON CERTAIN LANDS COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS THE WILMINGTON GRAMERCY- WILMINGTON CENTURY TRANSMISSION LINE FEE RIGHT OF WAY, OWNED BY THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES AND UNDER THE CONTROL AND JURISDICTION OF THE DEPARTMENT OF WATER AND POWER OF THE CITY OF LOS ANGELES WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carson has reviewed the License Agreement pertaining to landscaping and limited park purposes on certain lands commonly referred to as the Wilmington Gramercy -Wilmington Century Transmission Line fee right of way, owned by the City of Los Angeles and under the control and jurisdiction of the Department of Water and Power of the City of Los Angeles; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carson has been advised by the Director of Parks and Recreation of said City that such Agreement is necessary for the landscaping and limited park purposes of said land within the City of Carson. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carson that: Section I. The License Agreement pertaining to landscaping and limited park purposes on certain lands commonly referred to as the Wilmington Gramercy -Wilmington Century Transmission Line fee right of way, owned by the City of Los Angeles and under the control and jurisdiction of the Department of Water and Power of the City of Los Angeles is hereby approved and the Mayor and City Clerk are hexeby authorized to execute same on behalf of the City of Carson.
