A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON APPROVING EMPLOYER-EMPLOYEE AGREEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Administrator has been designated as the City's Employee
Relations Officer in all matters pertaining to the "meet and confer" process; and
WHEREAS, the City Administrator has met with the recognized employee
organizations for the purpose of negotiating an agreement for the fiscal year July 1, 1974
to June 30, 1975; and
WHEREAS, the City Administrator and the employee organizations have reached
an understanding regarding salaries and conditions of employment for the 1974-75 fiscal
year.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE:
Section 1 That the provisions of the memorandum of understanding with the
Crafts and Trades Unit, AFSCME (Attached hereto as Attachment A) is hereby approved
subject to legal implementation.
Section 2. That the provisions of the memorandum of understanding with
the Carson Employees Association (Attached hereto as Attachment B) is hereby approved
subject to legal implementation.
Section 3. That those provisions of said agreements which do not affect
salaries are hereby authorized subject to legal implementation.
Section 4. That it is the intention of the City Council to introduce and
adopt a reso u il— on w ich will in tum implement any changes in salary designated in said
agreements.
Section 5. That the City Clerk is directed to certify to the adoption of this
resolution and tFence forth and thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect.

hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five;
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 74-130, was duly and regularly adopted
by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly
held on the 15th day of July, 1974, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the
following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Bridgers, Marbut, Yamamoto and Calas
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
