A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON APPROVING THE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY
OF CARSON AND THE CONSOLIDATED FIRE PROTECTION
DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Carson City Council adopted Resolution No. 74-073 on May 6,
1973, approving the contract between the City and the Consolidated Fire Protection District for
the purpose of providing City -owned vehicles with gasoline; and
WHEREAS, said agreement expired on June 30, 1974; and
WHEREAS, the Carson City Council has determined that a new agreement
between the Consolidated Fire Protection District and the City of Carson is consistent with the
best interest of the community; and
WHEREAS, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors has authorized a new
Gasoline Purchase Agreement between the City and the Consolidated Fire Protection District
to become effective on the date of execution by the Board of Supervisors, and which shall be
in effect until June 30, 1975.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1 . The agreement with the County of Los Angeles is hereby approved.
Section 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to
execute said agreement.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 5th day of August, 1974.

hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five;
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 74-137, was duly and regularly adopted
by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly
held on the 5th day of August, 1974, and that the some was so passed and adopted by the
following vote:
