A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON REGARDING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF
CALIFORNIA, DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR THE
PURPOSE OF SIGNALS AND SAFETY LIGHTS MAINTENANCE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON HEREBY RESOLVES:
Section I. That the agreement for the maintenance of signals and safety
lights located at the following location:

11 4.43 HARBOR FREEWAY from city limits of Los Angeles at
Lomita Avenue, PM 4.64 to city limits of Los Angeles
at 190th, PM 9.07 a length of 4.43 miles.
Note: In this length, only portions of freeway ramps
IG-IT—Within the city limits of Carson.
91 1.89 ARTESIA FREEWAY from west city limits at east line of
Figueroa Street, PM 6.55 to east city limits at the
centerline of Central Avenue, PM 8.44a length of
approximately 1.89 miles.
405 4.32 SAN DIEGO FREEWAY from east city limits (PM 8.46)
at centerline of McHelen Avenue to (PM 8.62) at Los
Angeles City limits, a length of approximately 0.16
mile for this portion; also, from (PM 8.79) at centerline
of Alameda Street to west city limits (PM 12.95) approxi-
mately 70 feet east of centerline of Harbor Freeway, a
length of approximately 4.16 miles for this portion,
a total length of approximately 4.32 miles
between the City of Carson and the State of California, Department of Transportation, is
approved as presented; and that the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute said agreement.

I, Helen S. Kawagoe, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do
hereby cemtify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five;
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 74-142, was duly and regularly adopted
by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly
held on the 5th day of August, 1974, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the
following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Bridgers, Calas, Marbut, Yamamoto and Smith
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
