A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE A PUBLIC
RIGHT OF WAY ON BEDMAR STREET, A CUL-DE-SAC, NORTH
OF DOMIN GUEZ STREET AND SETTING A TIME AND PLACE
FOR A PUBLIC HEARING THEREON
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 . The City Council of the City of Carson hereby elects, to proceed
under and pursuant to to provisions of Division 9, Part 3 of the Streets and Highways Code of
the State of California, and hereby declares its intention to order the vacation of a public
right of way on Bedmar Street, a cul-de-sac, north of Dominguez Street within the City of
Carson as delineated and shown on the map and plan on file in the office of the City Clerk
of the City of Carson, designated as "Proposed Abandonment of the Public Right of Way on
Bedmar Street, a cul-de-sac, north of Dominguez Street." For further particulars as to
the extent of said proposed vacation, reference is made to the map and plan on file and
open to public inspection in the office of the City Clerk.
Section 2. The City Council hereby determines that the public convenience
and necessity requi re tre reservation of easements and rights of way for water and electrica I
utilities and hereby declares that these proceedings are taken subject to such reservations
and exceptions.
Section 3. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed vacation on
Monday, October -7,1974, at the hour of 7:30 p.m. at the Council Chambers located at
21919 South Avalon Boulevard, Carson, California, at which time and place any and al I
persons interested in or objecting to said proposed vacation may appear and be heard.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall post notices of said proposed vacation
conspicuously aong t ie line of the public right of way on Bedmar Street, a cul-de-sac
north of Dominguez Street, proposed to be vacated at least ten days before the date of
said hearing. Such notice shall be prepared and posted pursuant to the provisions of
Section 8322: - _,`' of the Streets and Highways Code.
Section 5. This resolution shall be posted in the four public places desig-
nated for the positing ordinances of the City.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 3rd day of September, 1974.

I, Helen S. Kawagoe, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do
hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five;
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 74-158, was duly and regularly adopted
by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly
held on the 3rd day of September, 1974, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the
following vote:
