A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON ORDERING THE VACATION OF RIGHT OF WAY ON
BEDMAR STREET, A CUL-DE-SAC NORTH OF DOMINGUEZ ST.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carson did on September 3, 1974,
adopt Resolution No. 74-158 entitled "A Resolution of the City Council of the City
of Carson Declaring its Intention to Vacate a Public Right of Way on Bedmar Street, a
cul-de-sac north of Dominguez Street;" and
WHEREAS, notices of street vacation were duly posted in the manner and
form and at the time required by Streets and Highways Code Section 8322; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did hold a public hearing pursuant to said
Resolution and Notice on Monday, October 7, 1974, at the hour of 7:30 p.m. in
the City Council Chambers located at 21919 S. Avalon Boulevard, Carson, California,
at which time said City Council heard all evidence offered by persons interested in
the proposed vacation; and
WHEREAS, said City Council finds and determines that Bedmar Street, a cul-
de-sac north of Dominguez Street, 'shown and described on Exhibit A hereto attached
and made a part thereof, is unnecessary for present or prospective street purposes.
NOW,!,, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Carson
does hereby order the vacation and abandonment of Bedmor Street, a cul-de-sac
north of Dominguez Street, within the City of Carson.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the public convenience and necessity does
require the reservation 6f easements and rights of way for water and electrical utilities
and appurtenant structures, as enumerated in the Streets and Highways Code Section 8300.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 7th day of October, 1974.

hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five;
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 74-175, was duly and regularly adopted
by the=City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly
held on the 7th day of October, 1974, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the
following vote:

That portion of Bedmar Street in the City of Carson, County of Los Angeles, State of
California, as shown on Parcel Map No. 2537, filed in Book 38, Page 4, of Parcel Maps,
in the office of the Recorder of said County, lying northerly of the following described
line:
Beginning at the westerly terminus of that certain course in the northerly line of Bedmar
Street, shown on said Parcel Map No. 2537 as having a bearing of North 890 50' 04"
East and a distance of 135.39 feet; thence South 890 50' 04" West 10.13 feet to the
beginning of a'tangent curve concave northerly and having a radius of 92.00 feet; thence
westerly along said curve on arc distance of 19.13 feet through a central angle of
110 54' 43"; thence tangent to said curve North 780 15' 13" West 40.40 feet to the
beginning of a tangent curve concave southerly and having a radius of 78.00 feet; thence
westerly and southwesterly along said curve an arc distance of 70.02 feet through a
centraI angle of 510 26' 17" to a point on said aforementioned northerly line of Bedmar
Street to which a radial line bears North 390 41' 30" West.

California, as shown on Parcel Map No. 2537, filed in Book 38, Page 4, of Parcel Maps,
Records of Los Angeles County, lying southerly of the following described line:
Beginning at the westerly terminus of that certain course in the southerly line of Bedmar
Street, shown on said Parcel Map No. 2537, as having a bearing of North 890 50' 04"
East and a distance of 135.39 feet, said point also being the beginning of a tangent
curve concave southerly and having a radius of 92.00 feet; thence along the westerly
prolongation of said aforementioned course in the southerly line of Bedmar Street South
890 50' 04" West 46.16 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve concave southeasterly
and having a radius of 27.00 feet; thence southwesterly along said curve an arc distance
of 32.23 feet through a central angle of 680 23' 59" to a point on said aforementioned
southerly line of Bedmar Street distant thereon South 730 26' 42" West 47.22 feet from
the northeasterly terminus of that certain course in said southerly line of Bedmor Street,
shown on said Parcel Map No. 2537 as having a bearing of North 730 26' 42" East and
a distance of 50.00 feet.
