A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON AWARDING A PURCHASE CONTRACT TO KOTT
& SMOLAR FORD, INC. FOR THREE MOTOR VEHICLES
WHEREAS, funds are allocated in the fiscal year 1974-75 budget for the
purchase of three motor vehicles; and
WHEREAS, sealed bids for three motor vehicles were received and opened
in the Office of the City Clerk on 25 October 1974; and
WHEREAS, Kott & Smolar Ford, Inc., submitted the only bids on two of
the motor vehicles; and
WHEREAS, the Kott & Smolar Ford, Inc. bid for the third motor vehicle
is the best bid overall, taking into consideration price and delivery date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
Section I . That a contract for the purchase of three motor vehicles
be awarded to:
KOTT & SMOLAR FORD, INC.
Section 2. That the Purchasing Officer is hereby authorized and
directed to execute tVecontract.

I, Helen S. Kawagoe, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do
hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five;
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 74-200, was duly and regularly adopted
by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly
held on the 4th day of November, 1974, and that the same was so passed and adopted by
the following vote:
