A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CARSON APPROVING AN
AMENDMENT TO THE CONTRACT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF CARSON AND THE CONSOLI—
DATED FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 74-137 on
August 5, 1974, approving the contract between the City and the Consolidated Fire Protection
District for the purpose of providing City -owned vehicles with gasoline; and
WHEREAS, the Carson City Council has determined that an amendment
to the agreement providing for the role of diesel fuel to the City by the Consolidated
Fire Protection, District is consistent with the best interests of the community; and
WHEREAS, the County Council for the County of Los Angeles has prepared
an amendment to the gasoline purchase agreement, subject to approval by the Los Angeles
County Board of Supervisors, authorizing the sale of diesel fuel to the City by the Consoli-
dated Fire Protection District to become effective on the datwof execution by the Board of
Supervisors, and which shall be in effect until June 30, 1975.
NOW;! THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
Section 1 . The amendment to the agreement as prepared by the County
Council is hereby approved.
Section 2. The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized and
directed to execute said amendment.

hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five;
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 74-226, was duly and regularly adopted
by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly
held on the 16th day of Decembe4 1974, and that the same was so passed and
adopted by the following vote:
