A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARSON APPROVING A REQUEST FOR
ALLOCATION OF FUNDS FROM THE"CROSSING
PROTECTION FUND" FOR PROTECTION AT SPUR
CROSSING, ALAMEDA STREET, CROSSING NO.
BG -500.1-C
WHEREAS, the City of Carson has made application to the Public Utilities
Commission for the improvement of Alameda kreet Crossing No. BG -500.1-C; and
WHEREAS, the Public Utilities Commission has granted permission for the
improvement of this crossing; and
WHEREAS, the Public Utilities Commission provides funds, for upgrading of
existing crossings to meet proper standards; and
WHEREAS, the subject crossing will meet the standard crossing protection
requirements upon completion.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City of Carson hereby approves
a request for allocationfrom the Crossing Protection Fund for the protection of the crossing
of Alameda Street, Crossing No. BG -500.1-C.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Carson authorizes the Mayor to
sign the allocation request on behalf of the City of Carson.

I, Helen S. Kawagoe, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do
hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five;
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 74-227, was duly and regularly adopted
by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Counci 1, duly and regularly
held on the 16th day of December 1974, and that the same was so passed and
adopted by the following vote:
