A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARSON RECOMMENDING ENTRANCE INTO A
CONTRACTUAL AGREEMENT WITH COOPERATIVE
PERSONNEL SERVICES
WHEREAS, the City of Carson is desirous of obtaining selection services to
provide written examinations as the need arises; and
WHEREAS, Cooperative Personnel Services provides selection services that
are available to local jurisdictions by contractual agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON DOES
HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City of Carson shall enter into and sign an agreement with
the State of Ca i omia, California State Personnel Board, Cooperative Services Division, for
the purpose of performing examination services.
Section 2. Cooperative Personnel Services shall provide written examina-
tions which sha b� a scored and proctored by the City of Carson.
Section 3. The City of Carson shall authorize Mayor and City Clerk to
execute the agreement with Cooperative Personnel Services.

hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five;
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 75-016, was duly and regularly adopted
by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting ofsaid Council, duly and regularly
held on the 20th day of January, 1975, and -that the same was so passed and adopted by
