December 5th,1932.
The regular meeting of Council was held to -day at 4 :00 p.m. and
was attended by Mayor Gamble,:who presided;-and Councilmen Logan,
Sharpley and Blumenthal and Town';Attorney.Mcintyre.
A petition was made by the Tybee Beach Company objecting to the
erection of any wharves on mainland facing on Venetian Inlet ad-
jacent to the bulkhead. The opinion of Council was that no wharves
would be pemmitted to be built without the authority of Council.
The matter of feeding the live stock at the emmp again came up
for discussion and the Mayor appointed Messrs Logan and Blumenthal
a committee to call on Mr.Tiedeman to ascertain if the County would
not take care of the feeding as it did before, the following res-
olution was passed om motion of Mr. Logan,secanded by Mr. Blumenthal.
RESOLUTION
RESOLVED that the Chatham County Commissioners be requested
to resmme the feeding and care of the the live stock at T.Newell
West Camp at Savannah Beach until the finanaciel condition of the
Town improves, so that it will not word a hardship on the Town.
There being no further business Council adjourned subject to the call
of the Mayor.

A special meeting of Council,was
held to -day at 4:00 p.m. and was attended by Mayor Gamble, who presided,
and Councilmen Logan, Blumenthal and Sharpley and Town Attorney McIntyre.
The new contract of the TWW was submitted and as all ofmtbh of the re-
quirements of the Town had been met by the TWW, Mr. Sharpley made a
motion that the Mayor be empowered to sign same, this was seconded
by Mr. Logan and the motion passed unanamously.
The following ordinance relative to the acceptance of the contract
witg the TWW was introduced by Mr. Blumenthal, seconded by Mr. Sharpley,
and by unanamous consent placed on seconded reading and passed.

SECTION 11 BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and Councilmen of
Savannah Beach, Tybee Island, Ga.,in meeting assembled, that the contract
presented and read at this meeting, between Tybee Water Works, a cor-
poration under the laws of the State of Georgia, and Savannah Beach,
Tybee Island, Ga., providing for the installation of an enlarged and
modern water works system for domestin use and fire protection witgin
the corporate limits of the town of Savannah Beach,Tyb I
land,
