A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE RESOLUTION
TITLE AND SECTION NO. 1 OF RESOLUTION NO. 75-001,
AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF AN APPLICATION ON
BEHALF OF THE CITIES OF LONG BEACH, CARSON,
COMPTON, SIGNAL HILL, LAKEWOOD, BELLFLOWER,
ARTESIA, HAWAIIAN GARDENS, PARAMOUNT, AND
THE COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES
WHEREAS, the City of Cerritos was inadvertently omitted in the City of Carson
Resolution No. 75-001; and
WHEREAS, the Sacramento Office of Criminal Justice Planning has requested
that Section No. 1 of Resolution No. 75-001 be amended;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carson,
California, as follows:
Section 1. The title of Resolution No. 75-001 is hereby amended to read as
follows:
"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON,
CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF AN APPLICATION ON
BEHALF OF THE CITIES OF LONG BEACH, CARSON, CERRITOS,
COMPTON, SIGNAL HILL, LAKEWOOD, BELLFLOWER, ARTESIA,
HAWAIIAN GARDENS, PARAMOUNT, AND COUNTY OF LOS
ANGELES"
Section 2. That Section 1 of Resolution No. 75-001 is hereby amended to
read as follows:
"That the applicant agrees to provide the required matching funds to
said project as provided under the Safe Streets Act and the rules and
regulations of OCJP (Office of Criminal Justice Planning) and LEAA
(Law Enforcement Assistance Administration) and that cash will be
appropriated as required thereby."
Section 3. That all other sections of Resolution No. 75-001 remain as
approved.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4th day of August, 1975.

that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 75-110, was duly and regularly adopted
by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly
held on the 4th day of August, 1975, _and that the same was so passed and adopted by the
following vote:
