A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARSON AMENDING THE SCHEDULE OF RATES FOR
WILMINGTON CAB COMPANY OF CALIFORNIA
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section I. The rates set forth in the Certificate of Public Convenience and
Necessity of Wilmington Cab Company of California dba United Checker Cab Company, as
heretofore amended, are amended as follows:
1. An increase from seventy cents ($.70) for first 1/7 mile or
fractional part thereof to eighty cents ($.80) for the first 1/4
mile or fractional part thereof and an increase to twenty cents
($.20) for each additional 2/7 mile.
2. An increase to twenty cents ($.20) for each additional 2/9
mile to begin 10 miles beyond City boundaries.
3. An increase to twenty cents ($.20) for each 1-2/3 minutes
waiting time or traffic delay $7.20 per hour).
Section 2. All said revised rates may be placed into effect at any time
after date hereof.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4th day of August, 1975.

I, Helen S. Kawagoe, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do
hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five;
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 75-1.27, was duly and regularly adopted
by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly
held on the 4th day, of August, 1975, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the
following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Calas, Marbut, Smith, and Bridgers
NOES: COUNCILMEN: Yamamoto
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
