HomeMy Public PortalAbout2011-11-17 Police Commission minutesVILLAGE OF PLAINFIELD BOARD OF POLICE COMMISSIONERS MINUTES MEETING OF NOVEMBER 17, 2011 Commissioner Michael Nott called the November 17, 2011 regular meeting of the Board of Police Commissioners to ord er at 6:10 p.m.. In addition to Commissioner Nott, in attendance were Commission ers Greg Chapman and Raymond Brixey, Chief John Konopek and recording se cretary, Kathy Glavac. Public Forum – None. The minutes of the October 20, 2011 meeting were r ead. Commissioner Brixey moved the minutes be approved as read. Comm issioner Chapman seconded the motion. All in favor. The minutes we re approved as read. Correspondence – A credit memo from IO Solutions in the amount of $53.00 for a newspaper ad paid for by the Police Co mmission. Old Business – The oral interviews will take place on November 19, 2011. The Commissioners reviewed the rating sheets provided by the testing company and were satisfied that all was in order an d properly prepared. IO Solutions will administer the interviews, with secretary Kathy Glavac to check in all candidates. All candidates will be advised that they will not receive their scores until late February. The November 4, 2011 Fire and Police Commissioner conference was attended by Commissioners Greg Chapman and Raymond Brixey. Both agreed that it was very educational, high attendance and a good location, made for a successful conference. There being no further business or discussion, Com misisoner Nott moved the meeting be adjourned at 6:58 p.m. Wishin g everyone a Happy Holiday Season and reminding everyone that the next regular meeting of the Board will be on February 16, 2012.
