Council met in special session on call of the Mayor; Mayor Ross called the meeting for the purpose of considering a report and answer from the Iowa Machinery & Supply Co. regarding the acceptance of the Towns offer in settlement for the Cook pump. Mayor Ross presiding and councilmen, Haack. Kruse, Lindaman and Okones present. Mr Claussen salesman for the Company offered the Town an adjustment as made to him by his Company to offer the Town as fo11_ows;- Either the Company would pull the present pump and add additional Impellers to make the pump give 4o gallon capacity or discount the contract ��75.00 plus an additt��onal ��20.00 for cash, or a total discount of ��95.00 After due consideration by the council, it was moved by Kruse seconded. by Haack that the Pump be accepted as is, and take the discount offered by the Company- motion carried.' It was moved by Haack seconded. by Kruse that the Clerk issue a warrant to the Iowa Machinery & Supply Co, for ��1079.40 in full settlement for the Pump and extras. - motion carried. It was moved an.cl seconded that the Clerk pay the following bill- Icwa P��?achinery & Supply Co- ?00 feet lire hose- ��163.00 There being no furtY��er business it was moved to adjourn. ��" �� Clerk Mayor.'
