A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF AN APPLICA-
TION WITH THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY FEDERAL AND
URBAN (F.A.U.) COMMITTEE FOR FUNDS TO CONSTRUCT
A BICYCLE PATH ALONG THE L. A. COUNTY FLOOD
CONTROL CHANNEL FROM CARSON STREET TO AVA-
LON BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, the City of Carson is eligible to receive $15,750 from the Los
Angeles County Federal Air Urban (F. A. U.) Committee for the construction and develop-
ment of bicycle paths.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby:
1 . Approve the filing of an application for a grant in the amount of
$15,750 from the Los Angeles County Federal Aid Urban (F. A. U.) Committee for the
construction and development of bicycle paths; and
2. That Howard B. Homan, Director of Parks and Recreation, is hereby
authorized and directed to furnish such information as the Los Angeles County Federal Aid
Urban (F. A. U.) Committee may reasonably request in connection with the application
which is herein authorized to be filed.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 2nd day of September, 1975.

I, Helen S. Kawagoe, City Clerk of the City of Carson, California, do
hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five;
that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 75-163, was duly and regularly adopted
by the City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly
held on the 2nd day of September, 1975, and that the same was so passed and adopted by
the following vote:
