A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF CARSON HONORING COUNCIL-
WOMAN PAT RUSSELL, PRESIDENT OF THE
LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES, LOS ANGELES
COUNTY DIVISION 1974-75
WHEREAS, Mrs. Pat Russell has served the League of California Cities
with great distinction and pride as a member and President of the Los Angeles County Division; and
WHEREAS, her outstanding leadership as a member of the Los Angeles
City Council and creative approach to the resolution of local problems has made her an
invaluable leader of the Los Angeles City Council Committee on Revenue and Taxation, as
well as an integral member of many other organizations critical to the well-being of all
cities; and
WHEREAS, the cause of effective, strong and responsive local government
has been greatly enhanced by her dedicated service as President of the Los Angeles County
Division of the League of California Cities and Chairwoman of the National League of Cities
Community Developme nt Committee; and
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON
does hereby congratulate and honor Mrs. Pat Russell for her dedicated service to the League
of California Cities and the City of Los Angeles and does further commend her for her signifi-
cant contribution to the well-being of municipalities located throughout the Unites States.
