HomeMy Public PortalAbout75-172RESOLUTION NO. 75-172 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON AMENDING IN ITS ENTIRETY RESOLUTION NO. 75-163, AUTHORIZING THE FILING OF AN APPLICATION WITH THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY FEDERAL AID URBAN (F.A.U.) COMMITTEE FOR FUNDS TO CONSTRUCT A BICYCLE PATH ALONG THE LA. COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL CHANNEL FROM CARSON STREET TO AVA- LON BOULEVARD WHEREAS, the City of Carson is eligible to receive $16,220 from the Los Angeles County Federal Aid Urban ( F. A. U.) Committee for the construction and develop- ment of bicycle paths. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby: I . Approves the filing of an application for a grant in the amount of $16,220 from the Los Angeles County Federal Aid Urban (F.A.U.) Committee for the con- struction and development of bicycle paths; and 2. That Howard B. Homan, Director of Parks and Recreation, is hereby authorized and directed to furnish such information as the Los Angeles County Federal Aid Urban (F.A.U.) Committee may reasonably request in connection with the application which is herein authorized to be filed. PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6th day of October 1975. ATTEST: _h. .
