A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARSON AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 74-100 RELATIVE TO
COMBINATION OF FEDERAL SURPLUS PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carson did certify and resolve to
comply with certain conditions imposed by the Defense Civil Preparedness Agency, Region
Seven, the Department of Health, Education and Welfare, the California Office of
Emergency Services, and the State Educational Agency for Surplus Property, in connection
with the acquisition of such property, as enumerated in Resolution No. 74-100; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to maintain its eligibility for such property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council does hereby
authorize the following amendments to the Surplus Property Resolution:
Section 1 of the terms and conditions applicable to all property, paragraph (B),
which now reads:
There will also be applicable such other terms and conditions as are contained
in the regulations of the Office of Civil Defense, Office of the Secretary of the Army,
Part 1802 of Chapter XVIII of Title 32 of the Code of Federal Regulations.
IS HEREBY AMENDED TO READ:
There will also be applicable such other terms and conditions as are contained
in the regulations of the Defense Civil Preparedness Agency of the Department of Defense,
Part 1802 of Chapter XVIII` of Title 32 of the Code of Federal Regulations.
Section "Designated authorized representatives" which now reads:
E . Fredrick Bien City Administrator
William E. Parrott Director, Finance & Administration
Harold S. Croyts Purchasing Officer
Is hereby amended to read:
E. Fredrick Bien City Administrator
Carl J. Calkins Director, Community Safety
Harold S. Croyts Purchasing Officer
Section "Further Resolved" which now reads:
FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution of authorization shall remain in full
force and effect until superseded or rescinded by resolution of this Council transmitted in
duplicate to the California Office of Emergency Services; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of this Council is hereby authorized and
directed to send two (2) certified copies of this resolution to the California Office of
Emergency Services, for filing with said Office and with the State Department of Education.
IS HEREBY AMENDED TO READ:
FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution of authorization shall remain in full
force and effect until superseded or rescinded by resolution of this Council transmitted in
duplicate to the California Office of Emergency Services; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution rescinds all previous surplus property
resolutions; and be it

FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of this Council is hereby authorized and
directed to send two (2) certified copies of this resolution to the California Office of
Emergency Services, for filing with said Office and with the State Department of Education.

certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said City is five; that the
foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 75-183, was duly and regularly adapted by the
City Council of said City at a regular meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on
the 6th day of October 1975, and that the same was so passed and
adoptted.may the following vote:
