D uring the first meeting, the Bo ard asked that the applicant address three bro ad themes on each of the three homes pro po sed fo r appro val at that meeting (lots 4, 12, and 13), which are neighboring on the Bluewater Co ve street in Place Au Soleil: 1. Exterio r privacy garden wall was higher than permitted by the To wn Code; 2. The co lo rs of the ho mes were too similar to o thers currently appro ved on the same street; 3. Massing was too similar to the ex isting home s; and 4. The entry paver walkway to the front doo r and la ndscaping was to o simila r. The A pplicant met with staff as directed by the Board and modified the applica tion to address these concerns, and the a dditio nal concern specific to this applica tio n that it was too similar to the other Anglo Caribbean style ho me a lready appro ved for Lot 14. Changes include modificatio n to the ro of, entry feature, landsca pe and ha rdscape (paver walkway), a nd the colo r palate of the home compared to others. The wall for the privacy garden with sho wer was reduced fro m 6' to 4' as required by the Town Co de. The a pplication as was reco mmended for approva l unanimously at the second mee ting of the ARPB in No vember.
