A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE VEHICULAR ACCESS RIGHTS
FOR PARCEL MAP NO. 7388 AND PARCEL MAP NO. 5320, LOT NO. 2.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARSON HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Carson hereby elects to
proceed under and pursuant to the provisions of Division 9, Part 3 of the
Streets and Highways Code of the State of California, and hereby declares
its intention to order the vacation of vehicular access rights for Parcel
Map No. 7388 and Parcel Map No. 5320, Lot No. 2 at the northwest corner of
Santa Fe Avenue and Dominguez Street within the City of Carson as delineated
and shown on the map and plan on file in the office of the City Clerk of
the City of Carson, a copy of which map and plan is attached as Exhibit "A".
For further particulars as to the extent of said proposed vacation, reference
is made to the map and plan on file and open to public inspection in the
office of the City Clerk.
Section 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed vacation
on Monday, April 4, 1977, at the hour of 7:30 p.m. at the Carson Council
Chambers located at 701 E. Carson Street, Carson, California, at which time
and place any and all persons interested in or objecting to said proposed
vacation may appear and be heard.
Section 3. The City Council hereby finds that the public convenience
and necessity require no reservation of any easement or right of way for
public utilities within the above-mentioned property.
Section 4. The City Clerk shall post notice of said proposed vacation
conspicuously along the line of the vehicular access rights -for Parcel Map
No. 7388 and Parcel Map No. 5320, Lot No. 2 at the northwest corner of Santa
Fe Avenue and Dominguez Street proposed to be vacated at least ten days be-
forethe date of said hearing. Such notices shall be prepared and posted
pursuant to the provisions of Section 8322 of the Streets and Highways Code.
Section 5. This resolution shall be posted in the four public places
designated for the posting of ordinances of the City.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED the 7,th day of March, 1977.
