RESOLUTION NO. 77-164
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARSON REQUESTING THE STATE TO
ADD GREENLEAF BOULEVARD TO THE FAU
SYSTEM OF STREETS
WHEREAS, the City of Compton has requested of the State
that Greenleaf Boulevard within the City of Compton's City Limits be
added to the Federal Aid Urban System of Streets; and
WHEREAS, in order for a City street to be classified as
a Federal Aid Urban Street, it must be continuous and each end must
connect to another Federal Aid Urban street; and
WHEREAS, Central Avenue in the City of Carson is on the
Federal Aid Urban system and Greenleaf Boulevard connects with
Central Avenue and that that portion of Greenleaf Boulevard in the City
of Carson must be added to the Federal Aid Urban system in order
for the City of Compton to classify their portion of Greenleaf as a
Federal Aid Urban system street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF CARSON That the City Council of the City of Carson
hereby requests that Greenleaf Boulevard between Central Avenue and the
East City Limit be added to the Federal Aid Urban System of Streets.

hereby certify that the whole number of members of the City Council of said
City is five; that the foregoing resolution, being Resolution No. 77-164 was
duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of said City at a regular
' meeting of said Council, duly and regularly held on the 1st day of August,
1977, and that the same was so passed and adopted by the following vote
